it seems to good to be true that i’m offered a world that doesn’t involve you
the light shines through this door, do i go through?

i’ll take it, let’s see where it takes me.

the light is what was needed in order to achieve this,
but, nothing hits harder than the i miss you kiss.

*****this poem was inspired by an ex-girlfriend. when we broke up it was because she was no longer the center of a room’s attention. when they don’t need you, they don’t need you. she made my knees weak, so hard that they fell off. good thing i had a spare pair lying around or i would be in some trouble and unable to walk towards new hopes. but soon enough, i won’t be the one in trouble.
